Shameik Moore, born May 4, 1995 is an American rapper, singer, actor, and dancer. He is known for his starring role in the 2015 film ''Dope'' and in the sketch-comedy television series ''Incredible Crew'' on Cartoon Network. He is of Jamaican heritage. ==Career== Moore was known for uploading videos of him singing covers of other songs, also singing and dancing with Jacob Latimore. Shameik also would perform at schools and post the videos in his online web-series "Meaksworld". Shameik also released songs from his mixtape on his YouTube channel. Shameik also has released his own mixtape, "I Am Da Beat", which was hosted by DJ Greg Street and was downloaded over 100,000 times. In 2012, Shameik joined the cast of Cartoon Network's debut live-action sketch-comedy series, ''Incredible Crew'', which was created and executive produced by Nick Cannon, but since the show has been cancelled. Moore had a role in the Hallmark television movie, ''The Watsons Go to Birmingham''. Moore played Malcolm in the 2015 film ''Dope'', which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. Indiewire included Moore on its list of "The 12 Major Breakouts of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival" for his performance in the movie. He is also cast as one of the five male leads in the Netflix series ''The Get Down'' premiering in 2016.
